Boxing and other things

My kids are driving me crazy. If anyone has any tips on how to not pinch their heads off - I would really like to hear them. It is Braxton mostly - He wont listen/mind. I feel like I am mad a lot - and yell a lot. But maybe that is my job as a mom. I don't know - It just doesn't feel right sometimes. I wish I was a happy good mom.
On a happier note:
Braxton has some blue boxing gloves and Merrick is always trying to ware them - so Merrill made him his own pair. Merrick was so excited!
A guy that Merrill has been working with has kids that are getting to big for their Bouncy House - so he gave it to us. The boys love it! Merrick was a little nervous at first, but has gotten better and now loves to have Braxton bounce him.

We had waffles this morning - and Merrick wanted chocolate chips on his. I was happy to give him what he wanted.

Week in KY

I am not so sick that I cant blog. I have been in KY - at my in-laws house for a week with the cousins. It was very fun - the boys loved it! But we also only had dial-up Internet...so no e-mail or blogging for me. But now we are back. Got in last night at midnight (Home) and our sweet boys were up at 4 - ready to go. IF we had been in KY still - it would have been the right time to get up. Merrill is so good - and took them out and turned on Transformers.
The trip was so fun! Although I think my in-laws are a little crazy. They have a big garden and can green beans every summer. I think we picked about 40 gallons worth of green beans, and then canned them in 2 days. One day we did 56 pints and 6 quarts. Crazy much?! But they are really yummy....so I guess its kinda not crazy. They have raspberry bushes, and black berry. Tomatoes, Potatoes (YUM) bell peppers and other peppers (like banana), they have cucumbers out of their ears, and yellow squash and corn and butter nut squash and yams, and peas.

Braxton helping Papa dig up some potatoes
Merrick's favorite was the raspberries! He would crawl under the netting to go get a berry, eat it and make his way back out and then the one in his mouth would be gone, so he would have to go back in for another. I think he only spit out one the whole week we were there.

Merrick eating the yummy raspberries
Papa took all the kids on a ride on the riding lawn mower, and the 4-wheeler. And we got to watch a big fire when Johnny(Papa) had to burn his compost pile.

Here we are Saturday night making Sh'mos on the grill

On a poor/sad/bad note: I had 4 mi grains this week. But on a little better note - Jenn told me about

And all the wonders it can do for a pregnant woman with a wicked headache. Thank you Jenn!

A River Runs Through It

Through our back yard! It is raining so hard...there is a river in our back yard - and 2 in the street - one on each side! I didn't know it could rain this much in Arizona. Oh yeah - and there is a dusting of snow on the mountain! Its 71.1* at our house.....but higher up the mountain I guess its colder!

Mid-Morning Snack

Mid-Morning at our house is 9 AM since the boys are up at 5-ish....Don't worry - we are working on getting them to sleep longer - or at least STAY in their beds......but anyways....After eating and having the kitchen cleaned by 6:15, I am ready for a little something to eat around 9...so this is what I had today. Chex with a Sugar cookie. We made the cookies and I hate to see them not get eaten, plus it was that or Coco Krispies to sweeten the Chex.

Here are the boys - snuggling in Merrick's crib. (With new hair cuts)

So I have been able to make some beads since they got here and left....I love it! We went to Bisbee on Saturday, and on the 4th we went to Kartchner Caverns State Park...VERY COOL! Everything was fun....I am glad that we have a bigger house now - everyone had a bed and noone was cramped at all - I hope!

Harbor Freight

The MAN'S If you have not been to Harbor Freight - I suggest you go. They have tools for low prices, and there is always a sale. I have been a few times with my dad, and last time realised that it is the man's T.J. Maxx. It is a place where men go with out their wives on a Saturday morning, to "check it out" (Just like we girls do at T.J.s or Ross!) And they do have good deals. I got a 20-something piece Dremmel set for $6! I have used it to clean out my beads (the dust that is left inside the holes after I take them off the mandrel) and I think it was a great deal!

I am glad that Men have a place to spend away from their wives, that they can go to get away, and get some very-cool, badley-needed crap at the same time!
