We are loving our big back yard!

Here is Some News For Ya

Our stuff still isn't here - we are now being told the 21st. And the Army told us that this isn't an "inconvenience" - so we wont get any money to cover expenses incurred while living in an empty house with 3 small children. The people who work in the Transportation Office will get "re-fresher courses, verbal and written reprimand" for all the screw ups they have managed to work in to our move. I sure love the Fort Hood Transportation office, and all those they work with.

More Fun Stuff - thanks army

I called and found out that our stuff wont be here till the 21st at the soonest. (I called the moving people, not the people who work in the Transportation Office) It is still in California. QUESTION: How do people have jobs and not do them, and not get fired? ANSWER: They work for the Army.

Last One

So here are a few more to finish up for the day - our room, bathroom, the house, and Sophie.

Bedrooms

Here are the rooms up stairs - we painted the boys room all 3 colors - and the guest room blue and green - and the play room (that I will LOVE) orange and green. The play room is at the top of the stairs (with the boys in the picture) - and the boys are loving throwing toys over the banister to the front door, but that is going to stop very soon.

A Few Pictures

Merrill was so nice to get me a big 8 GB memory card for my nice camera - and darn it! Our computer (the one we have) wont read it....so I took some pictures just now of our new house. We are having our crock pot roast - in our kitchen with our nice chairs and the kids little table.
The yard is nice and big (and all fenced in) - and we planted 3 palm trees, I hope they take! The dirt here is crazy! I could get some dirt out of the ground and make a clay pot if I wanted! We are going to get our sprinkler system put in on the 23ed. And we just got our water softener/water purification system in yesterday! We got a screaming deal! So we are very excited!
Our stuff is still scheduled to be here no later then the 17th, so keep your fingers crossed! Annie is going to fly out when summer is done at BYU Idaho - and I hope she will have a bed to sleep in.

We Are HERE!!!!

After a LONG drive with sick kids - we are here in Texas. I will be posting pictures from the Livingston Family Lake Trip, the NEW HOUSE!, and more....but not tonight. The kids are loving the trampoline that we brought from my parents house, the yard - that is nice and big and fenced in! and I love that I will have a nice sized kitchen.
Now if only the Army could get our stuff here - then we wouldn't have to be on a air mattress, eating off of paper plates, and sitting on our lawn chairs (All things we had to buy when we got here and found out our stuff is still in California - till the 17th.)
