Big Ride

We are now in Alabama - a happy family in a small 2 bed/2 bath rental. the kids all did really good on the way over...a 5 1/2 hour trip all together. We got to Birmingham Saturday afternoon and stayed in a nice hotel with free hot breakfast, then drove the 3 hours south to our place. Merrill has enjoyed some home-cooked dinners and lunches.....and the boys are enjoying their "Thrift Shop" toys - 25 cents will get a lot of old McDonald's-Happy-Meal-Toys in Alabama. If it would just stop raining we could take the boys out side to use their bubbles and ball we got at the Enterprise Civic Center (Wal*Mart).

Great Pool Day!

Merrick went ahead and put a log in the pool since they were right there on the patio - we had a fire in the fireplace just last week.

Sophie gets lots of alone time on the luvsac. I will have more pictures of her - I just relised that I DO have a card for my camera....so I will be taking more.

Kids

I put the boys to bed last night and they were each on their own pillow, in the covers, next to each other. And I wish I had a camera set up that would explain how the boys got in this little tangle -

Here is Sophie while Annie was holding her today....

She is holding her head up very well and looking around - we even got a few smiles out of her this week....and not the crazy ones that you know are just them smiling - she was smiling AT us.

Up-date ....... kinda

So I am in California with the kids while Merrill is in Alabama. I have been taking lots of pictures. . . . on my phone - so they are not going to get on the blog yet. I have to find the cord to hook them up and get them downloaded....but Merrill has seen the kids every day thanks to texting pictures. I will post pictures soon of the baby and boys.
